The vehicle itself was good and worked well for our trip, and communication with the hosts was generally responsive. However, I was disappointed with how the airport pickup charge was handled.
When I asked about getting the vehicle at Orlando International Airport, I was told to change the pickup location to the airport and was advised that the car would be left at their authorized airport parking. I understood that this was the appropriate way to arrange airport pickup.
I was subsequently charged an additional $47, which I questioned because the vehicle appeared to be in the same airport parking location it had previously been in. The host explained that there was an additional cost because they had to leave the vehicle at the airport. However, this wasn’t clear to me when I was instructed to make the change, and I felt the additional charge should have been explained upfront before I agreed to it.
The host later stated that their airport delivery fee was only $20, which made the $47 additional charge even more confusing.
Overall, the Sorento was a good vehicle and the hosts were communicative, but the unexpected airport-related charge and lack of clarity around what I was actually paying for took away from the experience. For that reason, I feel 3 stars is fair.

We are sorry the car didn't fulfill your expectations however there are so many rules that we can't change on our end, all changes on Turo will preview a final price before you accept them. We left the car at our airport parking only for your convenience as you were arriving quite late and I wanted to be easy for you. It's just a sad that—guests who take the cheapest prices because of the season—tend to be THE MOST COMPLICATED AND COMPLAINING GUESTS.
