Our experience with Beat the Q LLC was a complete disaster from the moment we landed in Orlando, and it only got worse from there. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from them, especially if you’re traveling with children or have plans that can’t be delayed.
We flew on a red-eye flight from California and landed in Orlando at 7:00 AM, expecting to pick up our rental and start our family vacation. Instead, we couldn’t even get in contact with the host. They didn’t respond until 8:15 AM, leaving us stranded at the airport with our luggage, a 1 year old, and our 7 week old newborn. Because we couldn’t get ahold of anyone, we had no choice but to pay for an Uber to our Airbnb.
When the host finally responded, they told us they didn’t open until 8:00 AM. This was never disclosed before we booked. Had we known there were limited pickup hours, we would have planned accordingly or booked with someone else. Starting our vacation this way was incredibly frustrating and set the tone for everything that followed.
The day before our Disney World visit, the front left tire pressure warning light came on. We immediately contacted the host, who told us the tire already had scheduled maintenance and assured us not to worry about it. Trusting their response, we put air in the tire ourselves and continued with our trip.
The very next morning, the tire was flat again. At that point, we requested a replacement vehicle because we no longer felt safe driving, especially with our two young daughters.
What should have been a simple vehicle swap turned into another nightmare. We were instructed to meet at the original pickup location, expecting a quick exchange. Instead, we were left sitting in a parking lot for two hours, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with our 1 year old and 7 week old in the vehicle, waiting in the Florida heat while the host repeatedly blamed Turo instead of taking responsibility or resolving the situation.
Because of this unnecessary delay, we completely missed our 2:00 PM Disney World reservation a day we had planned and paid for well in advance. Time at Disney is expensive and limited, especially when traveling with small children. Instead of making memories with our daughters, we spent hours stranded in a parking lot because the vehicle we were given was unsafe to drive and the host failed to handle the situation with any urgency.
The most concerning part is that the host admitted the tire already had scheduled maintenance, meaning they knowingly rented out a vehicle with an existing tire issue. That is unacceptable when you’re trusting someone with your family’s safety.
Throughout this entire experience, there was little accountability, poor communication, and no genuine effort to make things right. From leaving us stranded after a red eye flight, to providing a vehicle with a known tire problem, to causing us to miss one of the biggest days of our vacation, this was by far the worst rental experience we’ve ever had.

My trip to Orlando was nothing short of amazing with the best transportation experience. I booked this car with no problem , all directions to access the car and key we’re clear and smooth. No issues during my trip and my hosts not only checked in but didn’t fail to let me know they were here to service me if needed! If I ever return to the Orlando area and will be in need of a car I would definitely book again or recommend my friends and family to do business with Beat the Que LLC
