The vehicle itself was fantastic. It was clean, drove well, and I had no issues with the car. Unfortunately, my experience with the host and the overall rental process was much less positive.
One important detail to know is that the vehicle pickup is not at the airport. It requires about a 20-minute Uber ride, which cost me approximately $30. I had updated my pickup location in the app, but it apparently wasn’t reflected, so I ended up covering the additional transportation cost myself.
I also updated my drop-off location, which resulted in an additional $40 charge through Turo. The airport return instructions were very complicated, and when I arrived, airport parking was extremely difficult. There was virtually nowhere to park, and I nearly missed my train trying to complete the return. I left the vehicle in what I believed was the correct area, but the lack of clear, simple instructions made the process unnecessarily stressful.
To ensure there were no issues on my end, I returned the vehicle with more fuel than it had when I received it.Overall, while the vehicle was excellent, the host’s communication and the pickup and return logistics made this a frustrating and expensive experience. I travel weekly for business and thought renting through Turo in Orlando would be more convenient than using traditional airport rentals. Unfortunately, it ended up costing me just as much, if not more, while adding unnecessary stress. Based on this experience, I would not choose this rental again

Thank you for your feedback. The vehicle was delivered to the pickup location shown on the reservation. Although you said you updated it to MCO, no change was reflected. Unfortunately, your attitude made productive communication very difficult. You also claimed the vehicle had no fuel when the dashboard clearly showed 3/4 of a tank. We understand the airport’s designated Turo parking is inconvenient, but that is outside our control.
