Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this rental. The host was about an hour late, and when we received the vehicle, it smelled strongly like cigarettes and even had cigarette burns inside. I had my children with me, so this was especially concerning. The vehicle had around 130,000 miles, was jerking while driving, and was showing that it needed an oil change, which I took a picture of for documentation. I did not feel the vehicle was safe or reliable to continue driving with my kids, so we barely used it and stayed at our hotel instead. The cigarette smell was so strong it made all of us feel nauseas our first day.
I reported the issues and asked about switching to another vehicle the host had available, but I was told I would have to pay an additional $25 per day. Turo ultimately had the vehicle picked up because of the issues with it, yet I was still charged a $65 delivery fee. I was also charged for the child safety seat for days that I wasn't even able to use the rental. I shouldn’t have been charged anything and my money could’ve went towards the new one I got.
Between the cigarette smell and burns, the jerking while driving, oil change warning, late arrival, and additional charges despite being unable to properly use the vehicle, this was an extremely disappointing experience—especially while traveling with children. I documented the condition of the vehicle with photos and reported the problems. I’m sure they have better ones but do NOT rent this one.

Car was half as clean cigarettes holes in car n roof top engine light came on which is y i ended my trip early car smelt like weed n cigarettes when I got it

The car smelled really good upon pickup. Great communication. The car served its purpose. The check engine light did come on the 2nd day of the trip but then went out the last day. The car does a little hesitation jerk at times. But other than that it was a great ride.
