Let me start by saying the car itself. PERFECT. Now let me get to the communication. My trip was supposed to begin at 11am. I reached out to the hosts multiple times letting them know I had arrived at the airport. By 11:15, still no response. I provided my phone number waiting on confirmation on where the car is Locate.
And all i received back was a “THANK YOU”. 11:20 rolls by, I decided to reached out to the host myself. I called and got NO RESPONSE. In a panic, I reached out to a Turo rep, who also tried to reach out by phone, Text, and email. He as well didn’t receive a response. As the rep made an offer to cancel my trip and find me a new car ASAP, the host called me, GASLIGHTING ME, stating he been sent the car location information and I don’t know what I’m talking about! Thankfully the Turo rep, was able to read the messages between the host and I and confirmed nothing was sent. The Turo rep was able to validate the host had JUST confirmed my drivers license at 11:32am. We documented the call and messages. I am to follow up with Turo customer service after this trip.
BUT, after this messed, the car is pretty easy to locate. Great condition. Minus the volume button on the steering wheel is kind of sticky.
