I’ve rented with this host before and would consider renting with them again, but this particular experience wasn’t as seamless as my previous ones. The vehicle I originally booked became unavailable at the last minute, so I was switched to another car. And I appreciate having an alternative, especially since I had somewhere I needed to be and didn’t have much flexibility to cancel and rebook.
The replacement vehicle was fine overall, but there were a few things that made the experience less convenient, including having to figure out the charging process and the cleanliness of the vehicle at pickup. There was also an odor in the car that made the ride less comfortable for me.
I wouldn’t rent this specific vehicle again, but based on my past experiences, I would still consider renting from the host in the future.
