I was in town to visit family and needed a ride with 7 seats (which would include 3 car seats). I thought the Escalade would be a fun way to ride in style and overall it was a fine vehicle to meet our needs. This specific vehicle has over 150k miles as of October 2026 and the high mileage shows in certain parts of the interior. We had a groaning sound from the rear axle at low speeds and there were some other indications of suspension wear, even on the 4 year old vehicle.
We opted for airport pickup, which cost $80 and required that we take a shuttle to SuperPark D. The shuttle took a half hour to arrive while I was standing in the heat with two young children. Then we had to pay an additional $11 (previously undisclosed until pickup day) to get out of the parking lot. When we landed, we were ready to pick up the vehicle and I reached out to the owner who, although the vehicle was not yet at SuperPark, refused to come to the terminal to hand off the vehicle.
Then, while preparing for return I received several lengthy messages, often in conflict with details of the listing on Turo (I was told to wash and vacuum the vehicle before return which would add even further additional cost, but Turo listing says this wasn't necessary).
I wouldn't recommend renting this vehicle to others.

As explained during our conversation, the airport has strict regulations requiring rental vehicles to be parked in designated lots. Our airport delivery location is SuperPark Lot D; airport delivery does not include a personal handoff at the terminal, and under Turos delivery policy both guests and hosts incur fees.
I left the vehicle in parking lot with keys locked in. Now they are charging me more?

Hi Kevin, I am sorry to hear this, I reviewed our records and receipts but I was unable to see any additional charges that came directly from our company. I would recommend reaching out to turo customer service if there were additional charges.
