Very disappointing experience. I ended up paying over $130 for a car that I actually used for only about two hours—approximately one hour to get to my destination and one hour to return it.
From the beginning, the owner provided an excessive amount of instructions for finding the parking lot, locating the car, accessing it, returning it, and even very specific instructions for filling the gas tank. There was so much information that it made a simple pickup and return process unnecessarily confusing and stressful.
I was the only person who got into the vehicle during my rental. I returned the car completely spotless and with a full tank of gas. I personally stopped and paid to fill the tank before returning it.
Despite that, I was charged an additional $26 because apparently I did not follow the owner’s specific fueling instructions correctly. So after already paying for the rental AND paying to fill the tank, I was charged again even though the vehicle was returned full.
For over $130 for approximately two hours of use, I expected a much smoother experience. I completely understand reasonable rules for someone’s vehicle, but the amount of instructions and additional charges made this rental feel unnecessarily complicated. I would not rent this vehicle again.

This was the most hands-on Car Rental experience I ever had to give. From having to ask her to upload her drivers license numerous times. To her asking for directions to the car when they were already provided. Yes I do give in-depth instructions how to get to the car it’s out of courtesy. And yes, you will get return instructions where to return the car and how to fill the tank. Other than that, she took care of my truck and brought it back clean. Turo takes their fair share of the full amount.
Car was perfect for my family trip. Micheal was a great host and made pick up and drop off super easy. Great experience!
