Long story short. The car was very clean and is a very nice vehicle. I Really enjoyed it. But when I reserve the car, I did ask the host to see if he had the FSD, which was one of the features I was really interested on having for this Las Vegas trip. He said yes and this was one week and a half prior to the trip Starting. when it came to the day to pick up the car. I picked it up and I saw that the FSD option was not there when I got onto the vehicle. I understand that This is a subscription based feature but he was not even subscribed and lied about it. So I offered out of my own money from my own pocket to pay $100 for a full month of FSD. I paid him 100 bucks for this feature. I download all the firmware and updates that was needed but the FSD option was still not popping up. fast-forward through the whole trip. Even on the day that I had to give back the car, which I had it for a week and one day the feature was still not there. All of this could’ve been avoided if the host actually had FSD and I didn’t had to pay a additional hundred dollars out of my pocket and I was not able to enjoy or use the feature at all any day of the trip. This was very disappointing and it’s very unfair that I had to pay for something that I was not even able to use. but what makes me upset is that he said he has it on the car, but he did not. I will not be choosing a another vehicle from this host. And btw he did not even offered to give the money back or at least half since I wasn’t even able to use it at all and lied about having it. Bad experience. I’ve rented 3 other teslas from other hosts and they were honest and did have the FSD.
