This 4Runner was great, instructions for catching the shuttle were clear and concise and pickup was easy. The lot where the car was parked was about 3 miles away, I’d say the shuttle ride took maybe 10 minutes. Car ran as expected, we were able to make it to Pigeon Forge and back with no issues. Overall a pleasant experience.

Overall, the vehicle got the job done and the host communicated, but there were a few issues that made the experience more stressful than it should have been, especially traveling in a new city.
The car itself seemed like it needed maintenance. It alerted us during the trip that it was due for an oil change well before we were anywhere near the mileage limit, and the brakes didn’t feel great. My partner is a mechanic, so this was something we were paying close attention to throughout the trip.
The biggest issue was the pickup location and lack of clear communication. We were told the vehicle would be at the Nashville airport (with mention of the $21 exit fee), but we did not receive a direct message with the actual pickup location. After landing, we had to dig through the app to find out the car was actually at an offsite lot. We were then expected to take a shuttle that didn’t arrive in a timely manner, and we ultimately had to pay for a Lyft to get there. Being in a new state, already navigating travel, this added unnecessary stress and confusion.
If we had known upfront that the vehicle was not located at the airport and required offsite transportation, it likely would have influenced our decision to book. Clarity and accuracy in the listing and pickup instructions would make a big difference.
Overall, the car served its purpose, but improvements in maintenance and more transparent pickup details would significantly improve the experience.
