Overall, I want to highlight that the owner was always very responsive, communicative, and genuinely willing to help. Whenever an issue came up, he did his best to address it and took responsibility when necessary.

That said, the vehicle itself was not in very good condition. Although it is relatively new, it clearly had a lot of wear and seemed to lack proper maintenance. It had excessive vibration while driving, which made the ride uncomfortable and gave little confidence on the road.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be more than just a comfort issue. The alignment was so poor that we ended up getting a flat tire during our trip. To make matters worse, the car did not have a spare tire, so we had to take it to a repair shop to have the tire fixed and replaced. The owner covered the repair costs, which we appreciated, but the whole process took several hours.

As a result, we missed our flight because we couldn’t get back in time.

I would recommend giving the vehicle a thorough inspection and proper maintenance before renting it again. I truly believe that would make a significant difference and provide a much better experience for future renters.

If I had known what I know now, I would not have booked this car.

Shortly before my trip, Jonathan asked me to change the pickup location at the last minute. He assured me that he would reimburse all airport parking fees and cover my Uber to the new pickup location. Although the change was inconvenient, I agreed to accommodate the request.

When I picked up the car, I immediately noticed the check engine light was on. The vehicle drove fine overall, but I don't think it's appropriate to rent out a vehicle with an active check engine light unless the issue has been clearly addressed.

The biggest disappointment was the communication afterward. Jonathan only partially reimbursed my airport parking fees despite his earlier promise, and he never reimbursed me for the Uber to the new pickup location. I reached out several times about the remaining parking fees and the Uber reimbursement, but my messages were repeatedly read without a response. The lack of follow-through and communication was frustrating, especially since I had been flexible and accommodating when he requested the last-minute pickup change.

Overall, this experience fell well short of my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not book with Jonathan again, and I would not recommend this rental to others.
