Car had breaking issues. Host confirmed that he didn’t not inspect the car before renting it out to us. Host didn’t not provide another car and was not willing to compensate any inconvenience fees (e.g., reimburse additional costs of renting another car).
Guest reported slight steering wheel vibration when braking at very high speeds, outside of what I drive for pre-trip checks. No prior guests reported this.
I directed them to contact Turo Support for a replacement and that I would approve a full refund. Instead, they rented from a major company and demanded I cover the difference and more outside Turo.
As a precaution, the rotors were replaced and the car has since completed multiple trips with no further complaints.
