I had a disappointing experience with this rental.
After booking a pickup location near the airport, the host asked me to switch to airport delivery or arrange my own transportation to their location. I agreed, but was charged an additional $30 for delivery—even though I ultimately picked up the car in the same airport parking lot listed in the original booking.
About 200 miles into the trip from Phoenix, the car began overheating when idling or in traffic. The air conditioning was also inconsistent, turning on and off, which made driving in the Arizona heat very uncomfortable.
After returning the vehicle, I informed the host. He said the car was 2 quarts low on coolant, which indicates it was not properly checked before the trip.
We were also charged for extra miles. I asked if those charges could be offset given the condition of the car and the inconvenience, but the host declined. He stated I should have reported the issue immediately so he could instruct me to check and add coolant myself—something I don’t think is reasonable to expect from a renter during a trip.
Overall, this was a negative experience with both the vehicle condition and the host. I would recommend considering other options.

Solid jeep with over 100,000 miles. Had an overheat scare upon first driving the vehicle (mitigated by shutting the vehicle off for a couple minutes) and the speakers were definitely blown. I think that model needs to be removed from the fleet but ran just fine. Wish it was priced lower due to aforementioned issues. However, would rent again.
