My first TURO was great! The BMW suited my family of 4 and luggage perfectly. The car handled all the hills of Muir Woods with no problem. Pick up and drop off was very smooth. Car was exactly where it was supposed to be and drop off was the same! All good! Would definitely use again! Thanks!!!

Car was fine. Nice and clean etc. The rest of the experience was not worth the money saved by using Turo over one of the big rental companies. First, having to locate the car on a side street miles from the airport and hotel in the pouring rain with luggage was brutal. I had to shuttle to a hotel that I wasn’t staying at, only to have to run in the rain for 20 minutes at 2am to find the car. On top of all this, they want you to take dozens of condition photos when you arrive at the vehicle… something I really didn’t want to have to deal with at 2am in the rain after traveling all day. Same ordeal when returning the car… I had to park it and run over a mile to the airport shuttle at the nearest hotel because Turo can’t park any closer and can’t leave cars at the airport. Next was the return process… hertz doesn’t care if you clean the car but this 2015 bmw had to go back spotless, so make sure you leave a day at the end of your trip to detail the car before you return it. I vacuumed and cleaned my rental and missed some crumbs under one of the seats, then got a message from the vehicles owner asking “What did you smoke in my car?”!😡
Never again Turo!! I’ll pay the extra for Enterprise or Hertz next time. This rental caused me nothing but stress.
All the pick up arrangements has been approved by you. You don’t have to take trip photos if you don’t want to, but it’s for you best interest. Worst part is this guest made a messed and smoked weed inside my vehicle, and he would not admit it. Very unpleasant renter, not recommended .
