Car was so dirty,unacceptable.

Vehicle did not have key in center console as stated for pick up. Once this was communicated, the hosts kept asking if I looked here and there and I felt like I was being accused of hiding the key. Finally, the host called me. and said he would look for the key and call me back. I finally received a call a second time saying that he had the key and would be delivering it in half an hour. He arrived one hour later with the key. At this time, it was 1 o’clock in the morning. and I was ready for bed after flying all day. Once I arrived to my hotel less than a mile away, the car was billowing smoke from underneath the hood. After two more phone calls and numerous messages to the host, it was found out that he didn’t oil change and spilled oil all over the top of the motor. The smoke was burnt oil on the exhaust, which they were informed is a fire hazard. Now being 130 in the morning, I didn’t feel like dealing with it and just accepted the car as it is. The remainder of the trip went OK aside from the vehicle burning oil every time I drove it and creating smoke from underneath the hood. At the time of my use, the vehicle had 72,000 miles on it, it drove like it had 150,000.
When contacted about a discount for the troubles that I’ve had with the vehicle, it was radio silence.

Hi Jon, sorry for the late key handoff. After an oil change, a bit of spilled oil caused light smoke until it burned off. It wasn't a mechanical issue. We've tightened our key and post-service checks.
