Car and pick up were excellent. Host was great at communicating. Drop off was a big challenge for me personally
but host helped immensely.

When picking up the car, the tire pressure light came on and persisted even after adding air. We had the car inspected at a tire shop, where the mechanic confirmed the tire valve was missing and the rim had a crack, which is why the air pressure kept escaping no matter how many times we added air.
There was no spare tire in the vehicle, which made the situation more difficult to manage. We had to take time out of our trip to address the issue and get a temporary patch just to continue safely.
I paid out of pocket for the repair and have still not been reimbursed. While communication was responsive from host he did not acknowledge that the car was delivered that way even after sharing a picture of the tire pressure light on with a time stamp from the pick up time. The resolution did not reflect the severity and safety of the issue or the impact on our trip. I am still waiting for a refund.
I would strongly recommend future renters thoroughly check the vehicle at pickup, as this was not a smooth or reliable rental experience.
She claimed that our car had tire issues but not until she had driven it more than an hour away. Evidently puncturing it herself. There were no lights on at check-in.
She got it repaired herself and kept the car for the rest of her three day reservation with no issues. Even taking a trip three hours away. If there was no tire valve it would have had to been towed on the spot. When we offered that solution she did not respond.
Everything is fine with the car and has been since the beginning
