Host was exceptionally responsive and helpful! Car had some battery issues, so I’d suggest getting the roadside assistance. The host’s responsiveness definitely made the situation easier to navigate!

I was given last minute instructions for the pick up of the car, literally when I already landed at the airport. WORST part of all, it took OVER AN HOUR to FIND THE CAR as the host had given the WRONG LICENSE PLATES. It cost me $20 total to get out of the parking lot because of the error. When I informed the host of this he was already aware of the license issue for a WEEK but didn’t inform me nor had it corrected. Only figured it by looking at the photos the host took of the car at drop off which had DIFFERENT PLATES from the one online. He also gave completely INCORRECT INFO about the parking structure fees at SFO saying you have a 30 minute grace period before being charged. CORRECT INFO is you have a 10 minute grace period and after the fee is $4 for every 30 minutes. FYI it takes well over 10 minutes to unlock the key in their lockbox device, take photos of the car as you look for flaws/dings, and then process it all in the TURO app. Our car had over 100k miles on it and the windshield wipers wouldn’t pass a safety inspection! We had a hard time when it rained and just seeing through the windows if it was dirty. Had to manually clean it from outside. I definitely know I’ll NEVER USE THIS HOST TO RENT EVER!!!!! Old car, terrible service, major inconveniences, especially locating the car, and horrible communication….lacking there of, uninformed, and inconsiderate to say the least!!!!!!!!!!
