The rear tire on the driver’s side went flat! My friend sitting in the back seat said she felt shaking when we pulled off to start our trip down South! On the way home more shaking. More noticeable and tire pressure became very low! We had to stop 3 times to put air in the tire! The 3rd time we stopped tire completely flat! Thank God we had made it back to Cincinnati! The UDF we stopped at on Vine street their air pump did not work!
Disappointed that Turo took my money for the protection plan $13 plus dollars, however when I called for help they told me it did not go through and I did not have the protection plan!…? And it would be over $100 to have the car towed back to the owner! I was placed in hold by Turo and when he came back he said they will tow the car got free! It’s 11:30 at night! I waited 2 hours and no tow truck!!! I chatted with a “live” representative, that was no help! The keeper saying sorry with no resolve !!!! The second operator with Turo was rude and had no compassion or concern for my situation at all!!!
Meanwhile 2 tow trucks passed us by! I flagged one down! He had a car on his bed already but he can’t back! The tow man seen our distress and had compassion, it was 1:30 AM!!! With no help at all from Turo and the app stating they were still looking for a tow truck service!!!!…? Still after 2 hours! The tow man changed our tire for free! (Put money together to pay him something for his kindness)! I did not reach home to my family until 2AM!
Turo needs to do a lot better! I’m glad I was not down South when the tire went flat! Turo is No help in dangerous situations! Their customer service people have no compassion, no care and no problem solving skills!!! My guest and I did not feel safe! I will NEVER use Turo again and I definitely WILL NOT recommend anyone to Turo!!!

Hello. The tire pressure dropped because a foreign object became lodged in the tire and damaged it.
The concerns you listed, including the towing-related issues, should be directed to Turo rather than the vehicle owner. We simply use this app to make the rental process as smooth and convenient as possible for our guests.
