I am giving this rental 4 stars because the overall process was smooth, but there were two notable issues with the vehicle I received.
First, there was a very noticeable "whoom whoom" humming sound coming from the vehicle that increased in volume the faster I drove. The constant droning noise made the drive much less comfortable and raised some safety concerns. I strongly encourage the host to thoroughly inspect this car and look into fixing this mechanical noise before renting it out to the next guest.
Second, the car had a large dent on the door when it was handed over to me. While it didn't affect how the car drove, it really didn't look good, and I preferred not to drive around with such a visible blemish.
Aside from these vehicle-specific issues that need attention, the communication and pickup/dropoff experience with the host were great.

Thanks for the review! The 'whoom whoom' sound increases with speed, which is normal for any gas car engine. If engine sound bothers you, we recommend choosing an EV instead. The car is inspected regularly at a Honda dealership (report on CARFAX). The minor dent is only noticeable when you focus 100% on it. Turo also get the same Inspection report, once they approve then car gets listed.
The Host and Car... both were amazing. It made out trip to California a memorable one. Highly Reccomended. KUDOS.

First time renting a car, my overall experience was 10/10. I was guided through out the process Kamini was extremely helpful. SUV was clean and ready to go. Our great America trip was 10x funner with more space to accommodate our family.
