The 2026 Model Y itself drove well and was clean in appearance. However, there was a noticeable odor in the cabin that was off-putting and made the ride less comfortable — worth knowing if you’re sensitive to smells. The car is also a base trim without Full Self-Driving, which is completely fine, but if you’re hoping for an FSD experience, this isn’t the vehicle. Overall an okay rental, but I’d encourage the host to address the interior smell before future bookings.
