Car smelled like cigarettes and the windshield was filthy when I picked it up. I did make Ziyi aware of the smoke smell and told him it was fine, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t charged for it. I didn’t realize the windshield issue until after driving at night and barely being able to see. Ziyi offered a replacement car but only to the extent I was willing to rebook an entirely new reservation which would have cost me an additional $200. He said there was nothing he could do about the Turo fees. He promptly came and cleaned the car and installed an air freshener when alerted to the safety issue but when you’re spending $1,000 on a car for a week, you expect - at the very least - a clean car, no?
