Overall clean car and positive experience with William who was always very responsive. Unfortunately when we picked up the car there was a bubble in the tire sidewall, which we didn’t catch until we were deep in the middle of the woods. Dealing with finding a tire shop that had a tire to fit (1 hr drive each way) ended up taking most of a day while on vacation (and with a baby). Stuff happens, but I wish this issue had been caught before the car was given to us to rent— we got lucky we did not have a tire blowout on the interstate or in the middle of the woods.

Regarding the tire, it’s worth noting that sidewall bubbles are generally caused by impact damage while driving and are not issues that typically exist undetected for days beforehand. Since the concern was first reported well into the rental period, it would appear the tire encountered something memorable during your travels.
In any case, we’re glad you enjoyed your rental :)
