5/5 — Outstanding Turo experience in a 2025 Tesla Model Y Performance with FSD
This was easily one of the best rentals I’ve ever done. The 2025 Model Y Performance arrived clean, fully charged, and ready to go. Pickup and return were simple and professional — clear instructions, quick communication, and no surprises. The car was in excellent condition inside and out.
The Performance model lives up to the name. Instant dual-motor AWD punch, 3.3-second 0–60 feel in Insane mode, and adaptive dampers that keep it planted without beating you up on regular roads. The 21-inch wheels and lowered stance look sharp, and the cabin is quiet and refined for how fast it is. Range was more than enough for mixed driving, and Supercharging was straightforward.
FSD (Supervised) was the highlight. On highways and around town it handled lane changes, merges, and traffic confidently. I still stayed engaged as required, but it took a huge amount of the fatigue out of longer stretches. Pair that with the big 16-inch screen, strong audio, and the usual Tesla convenience features and it felt like driving something well above a typical rental.
Practical too: plenty of space, useful frunk, and easy charging.
Would rent this exact car again in a heartbeat. If you want a current-gen Model Y Performance with FSD on Turo, this is the one. Highly recommended.
