When I arrived to pick up the car I was told that the car needed a service and just to ignore the light. This was not disclosed prior to me picking up the car, and honestly I would not have booked the car had I known that. She had a full day to let me know that the car needed a service. The condition of the car was unknown to me and one would at least expect a car to be serviced before renting it out. I was about to leave on a trip and there was no time to change and book another car or I would have. Then when I got into the car I noticed 3 of the buttons that control the windows were broken. I sent pictures right away. No response.
While on my trip the key battery light came on as well showing that it needed replacing. I was in a small town for work and there were no shops where I could have purchased this type of battery. I again took pictures right away.
When I dropped the car off it was inferred that the broken window buttons could have been my fault. However my assistant was with me and one other person saw that these were broken when I picked the car up.
The car did get me to my destination and back and didn't break down which I was grateful for although I was concerned the entire time.
It was disappointing that the owner didn't even bother to apologize for all the issues, or offer any kind of relief. She took no responsibility whatsoever.
Hi Delia, I’m sincerely sorry your experience fell short of expectations. The service light was only an annual maintenance reminder, not a mechanical issue, and the car was in excellent condition. I had a short gap between bookings and couldn’t get it to Mercedes in time. I knew of one loose window button; the others were damaged by the previous renter. The key battery warning was unexpected, and I always keep a spare key available, it was unlucky coincidence.

Every part of the process was perfect! Car was beautiful and spotless. Pick up and drop off were easy and convenient! Will definitely rent from Maryna again!
