Amazing host

1time using Turo it was pretty scary but this service was 10/10 fit my family made our Disney trip smooth

The car was in good condition and the host was responsive. Pick up and drop off was easy. The reason why I’m deducting 2 stars is because of the unsafe position they put my 1yr old son in. I paid for a car seat and received a booster. They said they gave me a booster, because I inquired about a booster seat, however, I was inquiring for my 5yr old daughter. Miscommunication happens, so I wasn’t upset about that, I understand why they came to that conclusion. But here’s where my problem came in: They were willing to change the seat but only if I drove 1 hr to them to get it which I found so unfair to make me drive 1 hr with my son in an unsafe car seat. This ruined my trip because we couldn’t go to many places with fear of my son not being properly strapped in. For future reference when it comes down to child safety your company needs to take the hit and take that 1 hour drive! Anything could have happened to my son on the way to you and I’m sorry his life is way more important than making your job easier by having me drive to you. As a mother I WOULD HAVE NEVER suggested a thing to a customer. Maybe the owner doesn’t have children, but the lack of empathy for this situation is extremely scary. I would have rather paid an extra charge to have them drive to me than to take that risk, but that was never offered as an option. I strongly feel as though I should have been given what I paid for, regardless of what questions I asked after the fact. Most host on Turo list car seats and boosters as separate charges because they are 2 different things. On their listing they only have car seats listed, which is what prompted me to follow up and see if it was possible to get a booster as well. Again, it was a misunderstanding and I get it but most importantly, the host should have made sure I received the correct seat. If you have children I would not recommend this host. If you don’t then I would say go for it because other than that it was a great experience.
