This was my second time renting from Lucas, and I had another wonderful experience. Just to set expectations, this car is what I would lovingly refer to as an “uncles car” - what you would get if you needed something just to get around for a bit and your uncle was letting you borrow his. The exterior isn’t pretty, but the mechanics are fine - the interior isn’t fancy, but it’s clean. I consider this an excellent deal. Priced well and gets the job done! Lucas also provides excellent service. I would absolutely consider renting from him again in the future!

Olía mal, como a cigarrillo, los asientos en la parte de la cabeza manchados de suciedad, cuando aceleras en el highway es molestoso porque se acelera de golpe y asusta, no tiene carplay y no tiene buen cable para cargar el teléfono. El anfitrión es un buen chico.

Location was terrible and super far from Terminal. The shuttle took 45 min to get to us and then another 20 to the vehicle.
The worst part of the trip was the condition of the vehicle. The transmission is shot and doesn’t shift properly. Very dangerous on the LA freeways.
Hi Danielle, I’m sorry your trip didn’t meet expectations. Shuttle delays at LAX are outside host control per Turo rules. I’m also a bit confused—after 8 days and 700+ miles, no safety or mechanical issues were reported, which I would have addressed promptly. The GPS shows frequent speeds above 85 mph, maybe driving by speed limits would help you to felt safe. The sand in the car suggested you enjoyed SoCal. Sorry for any inconvenience.
