Another great trip with Lucas! I travel often for work and whenever I come into Southern California I check to see if Lucas has any budget cars available. Key word for my small business is budget - these cars are here to save you money! They aren’t flashy or have all the newest bells and whistles but they get the job done for an unbeatable price. I loved driving the avocado around!

Loved driving the little avocado. Car was clean and fun to drive. Some issues did arise but Lucas was reasonable, kind and quick to respond.

This car should not be on turo. When I got to the car it was dirty. You could see visible dirt, old hair ties and trash in the car. It also had a smell. I contacted the host. He was very rude about it. His response was cancel the trip, contact turo and get a refund then you can book a different car. I had flown in from Texas for a medical procedure. It was no way that I could have booked another turo that last minute. As we drove the car we realized it was the car from hell. The Brakes screech really loud. Anytime you hit the brakes there was a noise. The Mirrors don’t adjust. You have to stick your hand out the window and do them manually which was an inconvenience. The Key doesn’t fold in all the way into itself and hesitates to come out ignition. You had to jiggle it out the ignition. The car was shaking really badly when Driving and idling. The biggest issue was that the car hesitates to accelerate. When you press down on the gas it spurts and hesitates. We almost wrecked on the freeway because when I went to accelerate the car spurted, jerked and semi stopped. A pickup truck almost rear ended up because of this. This car was is not safe to be on turo.

Unfortunately Shampayne did not appreciated her time with one of my Kia Soul’s. Despite her feedback, about cleaning and car functions (apparently just happened with her since all other 5 star reviews the car has). A guest who complained about the car being dirty and return it in a poor conditon in and out as well 2 hours late sounds like a person who tries to get advantage of other people/business. Luckily with her 1 star review we’re able to go apart and she won’t be able to rent from me again
