Car wasn’t ready and in the lot at the pick up time, although the owner did refund the parking fee for the inconvenience. The car had pet fur (?) on the upholstery and could have used a better interior cleaning. Drove well and was as described otherwise.

The whole process was easy . Everything went well and I’ll definitely book again when I need to.

The car was good. The host was fine, the messaging and communication was not great. My pickup/drop-off experience were terrible. I didn't know until pickup that I had to walk to my rental located completely off the airport property. The host said it was a 5 minute walk. It took me a half-hour due to Apple maps repeatedly taking me routes I couldn't take (fences closed off, no pedestrians, etc.). This is while carrying a heavy backpack, walking in the California heat. I had the wrong lockbox code because of a string of messages that were confusing, which was frustrating. The car was clean and drove great. Then returning the car, I thought things would be quicker since I had figured out the walk the first time. Nope, some of the fences and areas I had gone the first time were closed, and I ended up taking 25 minutes to get to the airport. It was also pouring rain during this so I ended up wet and had to sit on my flight that way. A very simple fix to this is just to be extremely clear on instructions for how to get to the car. Or figure out a better way to hand the car off. Or if there is truly not a better way, at LEAST explain why.
