Sash’s Bronco was the perfect car for my quick trip from LA to Joshua Tree and back!! I can tell Sash takes very good care of his car!! Will definitely rent from him again!! Thank you, Sash!!

Unfortunately, this was by far my worst experience on Turo.
At pickup, the vehicle was in disappointing condition for the price: stained/worn interior, dirty cupholders, miscellaneous car parts and an old rag in the trunk, an unpleasant smell already inside the vehicle, and a noticeable rattling sound while driving.
I raised these issues with the host shortly after pickup. The response was defensive, barely legible, and essentially amounted to telling us to return the car, despite the fact that we were visiting from out of town, had already driven it back from the airport, and needed transportation for the weekend.
Most concerning, after I raised these complaints, the host reported that we had smoked in the vehicle and I was assessed a $150 smoking fee. Neither I nor anyone traveling with me smoked (or smokes in general!) in the vehicle. The photos provided as evidence were extreme close-ups that did not even identify the vehicle or show when or where they were taken.
Between the condition of the vehicle, the host’s response to reasonable concerns, and what occurred afterward, I would STRONGLY recommend renting from another host.
