I'm sorry you incurred a late fee.
These are assessed by TURO when a car is returned later than the 30min grace period granted on top of your return time.
At over 40mins late time is being cut iinto cleaning and prep time for the next renter. But as long as there is availability the option remains for you to manually request a time eextension through the app.
