Host was very friendly and helpful through out my trip. Had no problems with the car through my 3 week trip

The car definitely needs some attention. I won’t comment on the bodywork since it’s a rental car, and I assume cosmetic damage isn’t the main priority.
There was a dashboard warning for the license plate light, so you should replace that bulb. It’s an inexpensive fix and would be good to take care of it.
Mechanically, the car didn’t feel to be in the best condition. The transmission wasn’t shifting very smoothly, it was quite noisy, and fuel consumption was higher than expected. To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this car to someone who isn’t an experienced driver. We come from the Balkans, where we’re used to driving older and less refined cars, so for us it was manageable, but I think many other renters might not feel as comfortable.
For the price, I think it’s acceptable, and that’s the main reason I’m giving it 3 stars. Otherwise, I would have rated it lower.
The car also doesn’t have Apple CarPlay. Since that’s understandable for an older vehicle, I’d at least suggest adding a phone holder. It only costs around $10–20, but it makes a big difference for guests using their phones for
navigation.
I also tried to switch to another vehicle 5–6 days before my trip and was willing to pay the price difference. However, I was told that I had to cancel my reservation and book a new one instead.
When I asked whether I would receive a refund, I was told to contact Turo Support. I did, but unfortunately I never received any response.
That was another disappointing part of the experience. Between the condition of the car and the lack of support, I didn’t have the best experience overall. After this trip, I’ll most likely stick with traditional rental car companies in the future.

Car ran fine and pick-up and drop-off were really easy. However, either the tank wasn't full or the mpg is really low. Even with the AC "off", cold air was still coming out so I'm not sure if the button is working properly. I got a warning that the license plate light was out. I've rented from them many times, but first time with this car.

Older used car. Made a lot of noise and drag on acceleration when A/C turned on.
