Went great was able to extend my time significantly for free and the guys were super understanding and helpful. 1 issue was I had put the car in park for the first time then went to put it reverse. It reversed fine but I switched the gear back to drive and it kept reversing. It kept doing that until I turned the car off and then turned it back on. Only happened that one time. Aside from that the trip was great

The trip started well. When we picked up the rental, we were excited and looking forward to our trip. However, as we were getting ready to leave, we noticed that the front passenger-side headlight was out. We decided not to let that stop our trip and used the high beams when driving at night.
A few days into the trip, a warning light came on the dashboard. My husband checked the oil and found that it was almost dry. We purchased oil and filled the tank.
On the way home, while I was driving up a highway entrance ramp, the car suddenly shut off and began rolling backward. I immediately pressed the brakes, engaged the emergency brake, and turned on the hazards. It was a very scary moment. I was able to restart the vehicle. As I was driving us to a safe location, the car shut off again. I notified the host, and he was apologetic and understanding.
From the beginning, he was professional, responsive, and I appreciate how he handled our communication.
I had planned to give this rental 5 stars, but because of the vehicle issues and the safety concerns we experienced, I can not. Having the car lose power while driving was a dangerous and frightening experience for my family and me.
