Car quality was fine. Pick up was not convenient to me. I informed the host of this within minutes of initial rental. The host did not respond timely. I followed up within 48 hours with same request on pickup. Was informed they would not accommodate the request nor alter/cancel the rental bc it was now outside the 24 hour cancellation window. I believe this was done intentionally despite being well over a month from the rental date. It would have been much better to cancel the rental at that point. I explained the the host (she knew) I messaged immediately upon rental confirmation to ask for the pick up accommodation. Host refused to cancel. Said I could cancel but would have to pay. Won’t be renting with this host again and might skip Turo altogether moving forward. Really needed help with the pickup accommodation for family reasons. Took us over 1 hour to get the rental and get out of airport without the pickup request. I have never rated a host below 5 stars and try to be fair on all fronts. Not a difficult renter. All I asked for was a simple cancellation within 48 hours of rental (after my message was not responded to) in order to accommodate my personal family needs. Hate to give two stars but overall bad experience.

The vehicle was listed for pick up at park DIA and the pick up location was disclosed in the listing prior to booking Park DIA is located on airport property and provides a complementary shuttle directly to the vehicle. Unfortunately, I’m not always able to accommodate special terminal or short term parking guest.
