Very smooth with everything

Pick up location was perfect short walk from the terminal. Host was very communicative. Host needs a little mechanical work, but the trip was perfect.

This was my first time using Turo, so I really didn’t know what to expect. Overall, the experience left me a little disappointed, especially considering the type of vehicle I rented.

The Tesla had quite a few exterior bumps and defects already on it, the inside wasn’t very clean, the seat adjustment controls were broken, and the tire pressure was low when I received the vehicle. Since Turo requires renters to carefully document everything with photos, getting a car in that condition was honestly a little concerning.

What also confused me was the mileage charge. The receipt clearly stated that 200 miles were included with the rental, so seeing an additional fee tied to mileage afterward was disappointing and unclear to me.

I understand cars go through wear and tear, but for the price and type of car being rented, I expected a much higher standard in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall customer experience. Since this was my first Turo experience, I can’t say it was completely terrible, but it definitely didn’t meet the expectations I had going into it.

Great host and great car!

Trip and car owner were great. Car condition was rough. Still fun.
