I do not recommend this car or host. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication prior to the rental.
It was also frustrating that there was no mention of the car’s screen only working intermittently. This made backing up especially difficult and felt like something that should have been disclosed upfront.
I was also unable to connect my phone for navigation, so we had to rely on someone in the passenger seat holding my phone for directions. I’m not sure if I missed a step, but clearer instructions would have been helpful.
There were quite a few rules and requirements for the car, which may be normal for Turo (I’ve only used it once before), but it felt excessive compared to my previous experience.
Finding the car was also a bit confusing, although we were fortunate that both of our Uber drivers knew exactly where to go.
To be fair, the car was clean. The exterior had some dents and cosmetic wear, but that wasn’t a major concern for us.
Overall, if you’re simply looking for a vehicle to get from point A to point B and don’t care about navigation or screen functionality, this car may work for you.
