The car’s brakes felt unsafe once we got going and made an unbearably high screeching sound anytime we put our foot on the brake. Eventually got trip cancelled within first 24 hours but it was a frustrating experience to say the least. It took getting horrible Turo customer support involved for the owner to take our concern seriously. We wasted 4-5 hours of our lives on the first night and next morning of our vacation with Turo trying to resolve this and find a replacement and get a refund.

Everything was great! Nathaniel was super communicative and the drivers that he recommends are super nice as well! Great trip and great little car to get around the island with!

Car worked great! Is in great condition and is perfect for Kaua’i - pickup location could be better if it was at the Target as that would save at least $30
The target location charges $32. Uber is usually about 10 or 15 so they kind of average out but you don’t have to wait the 45 minutes that the shuttle goes to target. You saved about an hour or so and probably close to the same price or less.
