Car performed very well. We found the best charging location at Walmart in Lihue using the Chargepoint app, giving the first 2 hours free and $2/hour after, with 4-5% charge per hour.

Beware charging the car takes over 10 hours! On our last day we charged the car for over 2 hours in safeway parking lot and only went up 12 percent charge. So we had to leave for our flight and could not charge car up to 80 percent. Then the turo shuttle is very full, and the driver asked us to drop our party off at the airport ourselves; and only one person use the shuttle. Over all, this experience is very frustrating and ruins your good Hawaiin vibe.

Charging speed varies by charger type, and advance planning is especially important on departure days. Shuttle availability and capacity are managed by Turo and outside of my control. I appreciate you sharing your experience and am always happy to help guests plan when reached out to in advance.
