The Jeep will be parked at the Turo Parking Lot at Kukui Grove. The lot is located less than eight minutes from the Lihue Airport between Target and Costco. The complimentary Turo Shuttle runs daily from 0700-2300. The shuttle pickup area is outside of baggage claim B. To utilize the Turo Shuttle your reservation must be booked at LIH - Lihue Airport. We offer free delivery in Lihue and will deliver for a small fee to anywhere from Poipu to Kapaa. *The State of Hawaii currently is not allowing Turo Hosts to utilize the airport parking lot for pickups and drop offs. The State has been towing and/or ticketing Turo cars left at the airport.

Per Turo's Guidelines, the Jeep must be returned in the same condition it was received (interior and exterior). No Smoking & No Vaping Turo prohibits “off roading” on undeveloped or unimproved roads. We understand on Kauai that many of our best beaches and hiking trails can only be accessed by driving down a dirt road. That is part of the adventure that draws you to Kauai, and likely why you wanted one of our Jeeps. Off pavement there are no posted speed limits, but please drive respectfully. Most of the dirt roads are only maintained once every few years. After heavy rains there may be ruts and potholes. Please use caution when driving through the mud as it may be deeper than it appears. Hawai'i state law prohibits motorized vehicles on beaches. Please do not drive on the sand at any beach. The sand on Kauai is extremely soft, and even our Jeeps could very easily become stuck. Without airing down the tires to a lower psi, driving on the sand puts a heavy strain on the vehicle’s transmission. If you were to get stuck, normal tow truck companies will not drive to Polihale to pull the vehicle out of the sand. Please contact us with any requests, questions and/or concerns.

• What is the current Turo situation at Lihue Airport?

• Do we need to clean the vehicle before returning?

  I understand that your time here on Kauai is precious and don’t expect you to clean or wash the vehicle before retuning. But please treat my Jeep like it's your own, and help me by throwing away all trash that has accumulated during your trip. However if the vehicle is in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible and abusive behavior, we will document and report the incident to Turo. • Where do I find permits for Haena State Park?

• Why rent from Turo and with so many hosts to choose from why book with me?

  Turo would tell you positives like, "you will know the exact vehicle you are renting". That's true, you aren't just selecting a midsize sedan, or compact suv. Detractors will warn you that your experiences can vary depending on your host. But that is the biggest positive. Find the vehicle that catches your eye, and then read the reviews to ensure you will be getting the experience you imagined in it.
