First and last time using Turo.
Booked this car for two weeks. It sounded weird the first week but since I was out of town visiting family, I couldn’t really do much about it. By the second week the transmission sounded terrible, the oil leaked, and the tires needed air. I was supposed to take my cousins on a mini road trip but I couldn’t because I didn’t feel safe driving them with the risk of an accident. Sucks because I don’t live in this country and hardly ever get to spend time with my family.
I reached out to the owner four times and although he responded back, a few times, he was not much of an help. We were supposed to meet at the Turo lot and I gave him the times I was available but he never responded with a time, just a “where you at?” But didn’t respond after I stated my location. Crazy how people will chose money over others safety.
Would not recommend!!!
