Great communication and vehicle was as described.

I’ll preface that I went almost $100 over in extra mileage but not a significant influence in the rating.

Main factors that resulted in this review was
1. Received the car with the tank not full of gas. The owner did deduct some of the amount fees from the mileage so I graciously am thankful for that, but it leaves one wondering why it wasn’t filled up before I picked up the vehicle and if the previous renter paid to have the gas filled and it was simply not fulfilled.
2. Had to pay to take the car out of the airport which was not prefaced in the booking which is not included in an airport fee which is probably just a way for Turo to stiff you of more money.
3. The car does have a wheel balance issue which results in the car and the steering wheel to slightly vibrate at certain speeds.
4. The car has a lot of road noise
attributed to the snow tires, wheel imbalance, and vibration resulting in a not so comfortable riding experience.
5. I would rate the cleanliness of the car 3/5. The steering wheel is shiny and felt grimy after holding it in one position long enough. Also they expect you as the renter to clean and vacuum the car. Even though there is a car wash subscription attached to the car, why should you as the renter be expected to clean the car. I highly doubt the car gets cleaned outside of what the renter does unless they don’t.
6. Having limited mileage and to be charged $0.27 per additional mile is a bit ludicrous. I don’t think any other service does this other than Turo.

Overall, I was ultimately baited by the initial low cost before being hit with fee after fee resulting in Turo being more expensive than a traditional car rental service. It was a learning experience and will definitely not use Turo.
