The Ford Escape worked out really well for us. The pick-up place was very convenient for us. Our host, Ruth, was very friendly and helpful and she drove my husband to pick up the car. We would rent a car again from Ruth and Turo. Thank you.

The car was a little rough mechanically as it wouldn’t shift properly or even excel at a typical speed but the vehicle was clean and ready on time even with my short notice booking! Thanks for the experience.
The brakes were checked by my mechanic just before I delivered the car for your trip. The Transmission is less than a year old. The tire pressure is checked before every trip. I did notice that you drove the car at speeds of 89, 92, 93, and even 106 mph. This car is not a Porsche Cayenne and is not designed to go those speeds. In fact, those speeds violate Turo's terms of service. This car is reliable and drives well when driven at reasonable speeds.

This car is a 2013 Ford Escape not a Porsche Cayenne for which was reflected in the price. Additionally, the car is well maintained, including the brakes. If you had asked, we could have explained that ceramic brakes squeak when they are cold and damp - of which we have had quite a few days. You paid for a clean, well maintained car to get you from one place to another reliably and that is what was provided. Not really sure how we could have exceeded that to get a better rating.
