The host was kind and responsive, but unfortunately that is the only highlight of this review. The car reeked of weed and cigarette smoke, but we were in a hurry to leave from the airport and were optimistic it would get better or maybe it had just been on the driver. It didn’t get better, really seemed to get worse. Made my husband and son nauseous. When we asked the host they said there was nothing he could, people smoke and Turo doesn’t enforce the policy. We reached out to Turo and they could care less, wouldn’t give us any partial refund, just said we could return the vehicle early, which would have been so inconvenient and expensive to find another option. The vehicle also kept having one of the tires be low on air and we would have to get it filled. The trunk was very difficult to open, and overall the vehicle felt low quality. Maybe some of that is that it was a Mitsubishi, which I didn’t know isn’t a great brand. This vehicle was a complete pain, the worst we have ever rented, and Turo didn’t make any effort to help us.
