Car was great and pickup/return was super easy. Colin communicated with me and was available throughout.

We were tracked with an air tag then we got a flat. We immediately notified the owner who told us to change it to the donut and drive on that. The nail in the tire happens but then he’s trying to pass the cost onto us. I was incredibly uncomfortable with being tracked with an air tag without my knowledge which is against turo policy. We noticed turo when the reservation ended as I was uncomfortable with him having my full contact information and wanting to conveniently come get the air tag. I would recommend not renting this car. There’s also damage on the left side of the car which he doesn’t have pictures of in the listing. If you do rent this— ask him to remove the air tag he “forgot” was in there after later admitting he tracks people and realized “his error.” This is actually illegal in the state of Alaska.

At the end of the day you have proven to be our most difficult guest to date and thought we had communicated through all of the issues that you brought up in your review, including the reason for the AirTag that we would have happily removed at your request and will be removed permanently. The tire situation was an unforeseeable situation as those are brand new tires.

Colin had fabulous communication that made it so easy to find his car. This vehicle has great fuel mileage and the convenience of fueling it up, right across from the airport parking lot, it doesn’t get any easier. I would most definitely rent from Colin again.

Colin was fast to respond and communicated with clear, easy to understand, answers to my questions. The vehicle matched the advertised description and was easy to find per hosts directions in the dark. And it’s dark here. Would 100% recommend vehicle. It is perfect for getting around Ketchikan.
