The hosts had a beautiful spirit and very pleasant heart towards me as a customer

The car was really clean and smelled good,was an easy pickup and the host was amazing and very understanding.Will definitely book again!!

What a amazing vehicle we had

DONOT book with these people. They do shady business and take no accountability.
I rented this vehicle, and in the description it said that the vehicle had "backup camera safety features," which is why I booked it. Upon arrival, I waited for about 10 minutes for the co-host to show up. There was no apology, just a nonchalant attitude.
I then got into the vehicle and attempted to back up. When I did, the backup camera was tilted upward, blocking the view of the road. I brought this to the co-host’s attention, and she said, "Yes, the backup camera was installed wrong. That’s why I don’t drive the vehicle." I was repulsed by her statement because that meant she knew the backup camera didn’t work and still allowed the car to stay on the market. I asked her why that wasn’t included in the description, since it is technically a safety issue. She said, "I don’t know why they didn’t put that in, so do you want to just cancel?" I said no because I had somewhere to be, but that it would have been nice to know the car didn’t have the safety features it claimed to have.
I drove away, got on the interstate, and realized the check engine light was on. The vehicle also began making a sound like a motorbike. I pulled into my Airbnb and tried backing up again, and I almost hit another car. That’s when I contacted Turo. They said this is a violation of their website and that the owner will be flagged.
I then contacted the host, and he lied, saying he didn’t know this was an issue and that they must have messed up the backup camera when it was serviced. However, his co-host told me she doesn’t drive the vehicle because of the backup camera. So which one is it? Just a lie.
To make matters worse, the car charger does not hold or charge a phone, so while I was trying to return the vehicle, my phone was dying, which delayed the return process. To make matters even worse, the co-host came outside and asked if everything was okay. I explained how frustrating the process was and listed all the issues with the vehicle, and she took zero accountability. She even said it wasn’t a big issue and that it was a small problem that could be fixed simply by changing a setting.
Luckily, the Turo representative was on the phone and heard her say that, and stated that Turo does not view this as a simple setting issue and that they will be flagging the owners.
All of this could have been avoided if they had simply taken accountability.

Car was great. Needs major break work but great !
