The vehicle was great on gas. We traveled the north, west, and south parts of Kauai in the span of 4 days and only had fill up once, which was before drop off.

Great car- no issues. However, no communication on detailed question I asked about pickup after hours or drop off changes. If you don’t mind doing the 10-15 min leg to target parking lot for pick-up/drop off it works great.

This is a solid manual transmission Crosstrek. You won't really ever need 6th gear on Kauai, though.
