Wouldn’t recommend an electric car on the Big Island and the host needs to be more proactive to address problems that will arise when renting a Tesla in Hawaii.
We have dozens of five star reviews for our electric cars and no problems with charging if you plan ahead. There are a number of fast chargers around the island and many more L2 chargers.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine
Keep the vehicle tidy
Unreasonably dirty vehicles may result in a $150 fine
Recharge the vehicle
Missing battery charge may result in an additional fee
No off-roading
