The car was clean and functional! Michael is very professional and responsive. Gave a thorough tutorial on charging the car. Our family had a great trip on the big island!

Pickup was super simple. Michael was very helpful with answering any questions we had and provided recommendations to checkout on the Big Island. Michael even gave me a ride back to the airport. Would definitely recommend.

Michael was friendly and communicative, which we appreciated. He quickly offered to replace the smelly air filter when we mentioned it.
Unfortunately, the Tesla Model Y had visible cockroaches during our week-long rental — we ended up trapping about 25. Combined with the strong odor from the dirty air filter, it made driving and using the car very unpleasant, especially at night. While we understand bugs are part of island life in Hawaii, we didn’t feel the car was properly deep-cleaned or treated for pests beforehand.
The car otherwise performed well and got us around the island reliably. Michael mentioned he planned to use ozone treatment for pest control and change the air filter, so hopefully future guests won’t experience the same issues.
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your time here Brian. As you mentioned in your messages, when you received the car it was clean and odor free. 5 days into your trip there was suddenly a foul smell and the car was full of bugs. If you leave a door/window open, which is almost certainly what happened, bugs will unfortunately get in.
Despite you causing the problem I offered to sanitize the vehicle or swap you for a different Tesla, entirely free of charge. I don't see what more I could have been done.
