I would not recommend renting from this owner. His complete disregard for safety put my family in danger and ruined a Hawaii trip.

URGENT: Severe Safety Issue and Refund Request
Chadbourne,
I am contacting you regarding our recent rental. While I chose to rent from you based on your 5-star rating, the vehicle we were provided was a severe safety hazard and a complete disaster.
During our trip, the car stalled and completely shut down in the middle of the street multiple times. The first instance occurred on a hill with traffic behind us, forcing me to roll the vehicle backward down the incline just so traffic could pass. The situation was incredibly dangerous; my entire family—including my wife—had to evacuate the vehicle onto the roadside while traffic passed dangerously close. This was a terrifying and unacceptable experience caused entirely by a catastrophic mechanical failure of your vehicle.
Given the severity of this situation and the extreme danger my family was put in, I expect a full refund immediately.
