Cat was great, some confusion on ability to drop at separate place. Had to make other accommodations
I also gave them 3 stars. They messaged a few days before return saying I’m dropping at a different airport, where do you want me to park it. Different than where they picked up. 2hrs away. Then argued with me and tried to get me to figure out how to get it back. They selected pick/up and drop/off same airport. I showed them. Then they returned early and received a refund for days not used.

We rented this car for 2 days while visiting the island via cruise ship. Even though the location wasn't far from the port, the Uber to get to where the rental was parked, and back to the port cost almost as much as the rental itself. The owner expected us to wash and clean the inside of the car before we returned it and couldn't be troubled to arrange for a different drop off or pick up location. In past trips to the Hawaiian islands and specifically the big island, we've had the best experience with the Enterprise a few blocks from the port, and will skip Turo rentals here in the future.
This was a two day rental I reached out to long before the trip began and explained the location they selected and where it was to the port they would come in and they wanted to keep it. It was 10-15min away. They said they would use Uber. Then asked last minute to drop off somewhere else for me to have to pick up and bring back. And I always ask to return interior as clean as given. I don’t expect or demand a wash. I told them I had a membership at a carwash they could use, if needed, for free.
