The car was in pretty poor condition and felt very worn. There were rips in the seats and significant damage to the center armrest, neither of which was pictured in the listing.
The car was left at the airport for 36 hours before my flight landed around 2 PM, resulting in a $35 parking fee. I understood there would be a parking charge, but I expected it to be for the 1–3 hours typically needed for pickup, which would have been around $5–$11. When I asked about the $35 charge, the host refunded only $11.
Overall, I was disappointed with the condition of the vehicle and how the parking situation was handled.

Renter was told when booking that she would have to pay for parking when picking up. When it came time to pay she was very unhappy about it. This is a retaliatory review due to her unhappiness. Please read all of our other reviews - our car is in great condition. The issue is this renter, not our vehicle.
The car was in great condition! Kuuleinani was very easy responsive and friendly. Pickup and drop-off were very simple. I would definitely recommend!

Car was great. The only thing was the parking. The pickup time was 9:00 pm, we shared the flight info (for arrival time) and they decided to leave the car in the parking at 1:30 pm. The parking literally costs different for each hour that the car is in the parking lot. When I rented it, it didn’t say that we had to cover that. We had to pay 27 dlls and they offer to return just 3 dlls, when there was no reason to leave it since 1 pm

I’m sorry you felt misled - in our automatic response once you booked the vehicle, you can see we had let you know that the renter would cover the cost at pick up, and that we would cover the cost when the vehicle is returned (we send this right away so that you may still cancel if you needed to). As for the drop off, we do have 4 young children and unfortunately cannot always rearrange our schedule to deliver each rental to the airport at the exact start time, especially late at night.
The car was as described, everything up to date and worked well. Great trip!
